“Thanks to Joe and Terri at Good Old-Fashioned Auto Repair for catching these problems and making my family safe again!”
I recently went for an oil change at a local repair shop. I’ve kinda gotten used to the idea that I’m going to get a shopping list of things I need to fix each time. So, when they came to me concerning an oil leak that had damaged my ignition wires to the tune of $600, I decided I wanted a 2nd opinion. Sometimes I feel like they just sell what they want to at the time.
My Mom, Bonni Leone, referred me to Joe & Terri Carbon at GO-FAR. She had recently met them at a networking lunch and knew they were well known in the community for being straight up with their customers. Joe picked up my car
(Yeah, I love that convenience!), and did his standard evaluation. Then I got the phone call.
He agreed with the oil leak on the ignition wires but stated “this is the least of your problems. You have a very dangerous ball joint and CV axles, and the rear brakes are leaking fluid.”
How could the other shop have missed all these serious safety problems?
I recently left my job in Charlotte to work in my Mom’s business, “Healthy Habits Wellness Center” in Cornelius. Before then, I had driven an hour to work in Charlotte daily, many times with my young daughter in the car, unaware that my car had dangerous issues.
Thanks to Joe and Terri at Good Old-Fashioned Auto Repair for catching these problems and making my family safe again.
